Win7 upgrade to win1010/29/2023 ![]() I also figured out how to call a "new" subroutine in the v16.2 project subroutines from the Legacy macros as well. SetEncryptedString rcPassword, "yourpassword" ' replace with your password between quotes. username = "*username*" 'enter user id to log in between quotes You can see from this code how to do this and continue to use the full Legacy macros in v16.2 With Session I did find a way to encrypt my password as it does in the File Transfer Settings screen in v14 when creating a vba macro so I have updated my code to do this instead. Update: I found out that v16.2 does not allow macros to capture code in the vba window for the File Transfer routine (this from their KB article). If you have suggestions on how to get a macro to record this process in the V16.2 Reflections so I can read that vba code would be excellent. PCSReceiveFile "", rcYes 'this is the line I am trying to figure out in the new version Xfr400RemoteFile = "~library/file(object)~" Xfr400SendConversion = rcAS400CommaDelim Xfr400ReceiveConversion = rcAS400CommaDelim Here is the rest of the code I have in the legacy macro: With Session I tried to 'record' a new macro, but the desktop version does not capture any VBA code when I perform all of the steps manually and then go back to see the VBA code in the newly created macro. Alternatively, I would also like to learn how to make this macro in the new v16.2 version of Reflections but I don't know what the replacement code for the Session.PCSReceiveFile "", rcYes command is. I have also found I can assign these values, but the password field is encrypted in the older version of Reflections and once that machine is gone, I won't be able to update it when my pw is changed in 3 months. This is not very helpful, but I have figured out that it has to do with missing the session username and/or pw value. I have a username and pw set in the file transfer settings but when the vba code gets to the command Session.PCSReceiveFile "", rcYes, it errors to Err.number = -2147479242 ("Transfer error"). ![]() I have learned how to incorporate my legacy macros except the process I had automated to transfer files from AS400 to PC (local) is not working now. I am in the process of converting from a Win7 to Win10 machine and upgrading Attachmate Reflections to the Micro Focus reflections v16.2. ![]()
